Once
the audit scope has been agreed, a detailed list of criteria which form the auditor
checklist is then created.
We will then commence the audit programme and deliver periodic feedback meetings
to your organisation.
If your gas and/or electrical work is carried out by contractors, we can deliver
our feedback direct to the contractors in the presence of your organisation representatives
- if you prefer.
The feedback session is delivered with the aid of a statistical overview of the
audit results. The use of a continuous profile of performance throughout the programme
duration can facilitate:
- An indication of specific trends, such as improvements achieved as a result of the
implementation of a new procedure
- A valuable performance indicator for the management team and the engineers being
audited, which can be utilised during meetings
- Performance targets can be implemented and monitored
- Specific audit criteria such as engineer use of I.D can be singled out for analyses
An example of a time profile is shown below. This chart reveals an improving trend
over a two year period due to the defects encountered by the auditors reducing as
the months pass.
It can be seen that the improvements begin on month 12; this was attributed in part
to improvements in the format of the landlord certificate which was highlighted
by Icon auditors.
